Dear Precious Ladies
Here we are together again, moving on with this new year that the Lord has given us.
How
has it been so far? Has it been new indeed or is it only been a
numerical year change? Allow me to take you back to some of the words
you received through cards, text messages, emails and verbally as you
met with family and friends. The words were HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Although we chorus these words over and over again they carry such weight when we prayerfully consider them and keep them in our minds and apply them on a daily basis. The word happy means delighted. Some of its synonyms are: favoured, pleased, successful, blessed, high flying, can’t complain, contentment, laughing and sunny.
God's word in Jeremiah 29:11-13 states that, “I know the plans I have for you, they are plans for peace and not disaster to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and pray to me I will listen to you. When you search for me with all your heart you will find me.” God's plan for you is that you may find Him and that your year be filled with contentment. Content in knowing that the Lord will do the journey with you daily, therefore you can’t be defeated by anything you might face or have already faced.
God's favour and blessing is upon your life because of the precious blood of Jesus that gave you this most precious relationship you have with God. You can fly high this year because the Holy Spirit is the fuel that propels you above any obstacles that Satan may try to throw at you. You will be successful as you read the Word and mediate on it. Application of the Word in all you do is going to usher you into much greater heights than you have ever imagined.
This year remember that when you pray the Lord will be listening to you and he will surely answer you. However, commit to guarding your heart and dealing promptly with any issues that might want to corrupt you. It’s only those with clean hearts who will ascend to the mountain of His presence. Love the Lord your God with all that you are and have. This year let us pursue Him who holds our future. We have been given an opportunity to start again!!!!
With this in mind I wish you all my sisters far and wide a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! Together we are running the race of 2014 looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith!!!
