Season's Greetings

Matthew 1:20-23
But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,“Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

Dear Precious Ladies

Compliments of this wonderful season!!!

We thank God for allowing us to get to December. We have made it through thick and thin and we will finish this year strong. By His grace we will enter 2014 with a great bang because the Lord IS WITH US!!!

This month is full of activities leading to Christmas. Whilst the pagans used this day to celebrate their god and held festivities our focus is not on the day. Our focus is that a virgin, a woman like us, was used by God through the power of the Holy Spirit to give birth to our Saviour. Jesus came to save us from our sin and that is what we are celebrating.

To honour and celebrate Christmas is to refuse a lifestyle of sin. The world enjoys the holiday but mostly uses it to sin and indulge in all sorts of ungodly activities but for us it's Oh Holy Night!!!! We must pursue heart purity and holiness and with the Holy Spirit's help, let's allow our lives to be a Bethlehem where God's purposes are birthed. What Mary carried in her is still benefiting us today. As we get into this season let's carry that which will benefit all mankind under our care and influence. This is the God in us.

The gift of the presence of God can't be purchased in a shop and can’t be wrapped in fancy papers and ribbons but it is wrapped in hearts that are submitted to God. Hearts that are obedient to God. Hearts that are forgiving, kind and loving. No matter what your year has been so far remember that Immanuel is with you. He is the One whose hand has kept you the whole year!!! All you ever needed He provided. Even if the year was difficult, you are still alive and you are finishing the year well because unto us, for us and with us, a Son was given. Jesus came for you!!! You are special to Him and you will always be special to Him. Forever He will be your guide even unto death!!!

As you reflect on the significance of this season may the Lord refresh your love for Him. May He give you the power to say no to sin. May salvation be for you and your loved ones. May the Lord fill you with His Holy Spirit once again and cause you to birth great things for Him that will benefit your world of influence, your nation and the nations of the earth. For those of you who are travelling to various destinations may the Lord keep you safe in the roads, in the air or at sea. May this season not bring you tears of sorrow but the sounds of joy, gladness and celebrations. Those of you hosting guests may the Lord provide you with all the resources you need and none shall experience food poisoning!!! Finally for those of you shopping for gifts may the lord give you wisdom and direct your steps so that you buy purposeful gifts and not end up in debt!!!

I love and pray for you.

The Hope For Every Woman team and I wish you a God-filled Christmas and an amazing, wonderful, fruitful New Year!!!
Much love and blessings

As Bright as the Sun

Dear Precious Ladies

Wow this is the eleventh month of the year. What a mighty God we serve. He has brought us this far, bless His holy name. So how did you get on in October? We made up our minds not to let go of our joy no matter what satan threw at us. By God's grace we made it over.

One of my daughters told me that she was holding on to that word concerning joy with dear life!!! The enemy had a go at her almost every week!! She is still standing!!! Jehovah indeed has the final say, not people, not situations, not family, not friends, not spouse, not church, not children BUT Jehovah has and will always have the final say. His thoughts towards you are good. Had it not been of the Lord who was on your side you could have been swallowed by circumstances. Psalm 124.

As we welcome and celebrate this month, I want to encourage you with the words of Solomon in the book of Proverbs chapter 4:18-22.  It says: "The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day, but the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble. My son, pay attention to what I say;  turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them  and health to one’s whole body."

Since the first of January we have all been on a path. The word path has several meanings some of which are: journey; way; route; program; sequence; progression; access and direction. We have all been on a journey and for some us it has not been an easy journey due to various circumstances, but for some of us the journey has been full of adventure and fun. Some of us were promoted and find ourselves on a higher plane. Others had relationships restored, whilst some had relationships broken. Our finances were on different levels, so has been our walk with the Lord. Some prayed more whilst others prayed less. No matter what route, what program or sequence your life has been on, we are approaching the final lap of the year. The past is now behind us and we want to finish the year strong.

According to the above scripture our journey is supposed to get brighter, radiating and reflecting the light. God wants our lives to be progressing as we radiate His presence to those around us. Our lives and journeys are being compared to the most central body of the solar system; to the brightest star that provides light, warmth and heat to the whole world. Jesus called us the light of the world, responsible for dispersing darkness wherever we find it. You cannot ignore the sun no matter who or where you are. Its visibility is unstoppable.

Therefore woman! As you progress into November may your brightness increase. May you pierce the world of darkness with the power of God residing in you. May you bring warmth and light in your sphere of influence. The sun has an advantageous position therefore may the lord give you advantage and recognition in every aspect of your life. It does not matter how you ended October, just pay attention to the word of the Lord, keep the word in your heart and do not allow satan to steal the word from you. Your journey is getting brighter.

Happy November as we journey together. We will increase in capacity and influence just like the sun.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you all.

Much love

Let Us Rejoice

My Dear Sisters

Look what the Lord has done!! We have made it to September and have arrived safely to the month of October. There has been tragic news from different countries in the world and many people did not make it to October. Some lost their lives in bomb blasts, some in mass shootings, and some in wars. It is sobering to think that some might not even make it to the end of this night. And yet our God has kept us against all odds. Therefore, I want to encourage you to approach October with a positive attitude for it is the Lord who has given us this brand new month. In this month that the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad (Psalm 118:24).

Let's focus on the word 'WILL' in the above scripture. That word denotes personal choice. Some of its synonyms are: determination, intention, longing, prerogative, purpose, heart's desire, resolve, discipline, declaration, embrace and to make up one's mind. Rejoicing is a personal choice and we need to make up our minds right from the beginning of this month that we will rejoice in the Lord. We must make it our prerogative and resolve to be joyful. Our enemy Satan seeks to devour our joy using negative circumstances. Sometimes he uses those close to us, or even those we trust and care about, as a source of grief to us. I am not sure what September was like for you, but for some, joy was nowhere to be found. This is why we need to rather be like a palm tree that does not break under pressure, but bends and bounces right back.

The Bible says that we should not let Satan outsmart us but that we should know how he does his evil work (2 Corinthians 2:11). One of the key weapons which Satan aims at our joy is the past. Although the past means something that no longer exists, something gone, and something that is behind, we sometimes act like our past is current, especially if there was pain, regret, guilt, rejection or failure involved. We tend to build shrines around these situations even though they no longer exist. We stop celebrating today because we pay homage to 'MR PAST'. In that process 'MISS PRESENT' passes us by, carrying our presents with her because we are not present to receive them. We are too busy flirting with 'MR PAST'. No wonder why the Prophet Isaiah says, 'forget about what's happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand new.' Isaiah 43:18-19 (Message Translation).

Be determined to be completely present in the month of October. Don’t let any day of this new month be stolen from you. Refuse to flirt with the past. Daily discipline yourself to rejoice because this is the day, and the month, that the Lord has made for you and me. You are a significant woman and God has great plans for you. He wants to use you mightily to be a blessing in your sphere of influence. Your joy matters to all who are linked to you at any capacity, starting from your home. Joy is your weapon of influence so don’t let go of it.

I love you and pray for you and I know our Heavenly Father delights in your joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Enjoy the month of October.

Much love and blessings.

The Greatness of God's Faithfulness

Dear Precious Ladies

Wow! We have been granted the right of entry into the month of September and we are already moving forward praise the Lord!! Happy September to you all!!! I have since learnt not to take life for granted. It indeed is a gift from the Lord.

In Lamentations 3:22-25 the prophet Jeremiah comments about the daily mercies we receive from the Lord. He also states that the Lord is his portion and that the Lord is good to those who hope and wait for Him. In verse 23 he describes the faithfulness of the Lord as great. I want to encourage you to hope and wait for the Lord for He is faithful.

One of the definitions of faithfulness is to be consistently reliable and true. Another definition is adhering firmly and devotedly to a person or cause. Great means something very big, remarkable, outstanding and superior in quality. Combining these two words we see that God's mercy, love and commitment towards us is true, reliable and outstandingly superior in quality. He is daily devoted to us and we should hope in Him.

Ladies, the month of August had now become the month of Lamentations for me since the death of my mum on the 2nd of August 2007. I would automatically associate August with one of the saddest days of my life… but not so this August. The Lord, who is consistently devoted to me, made a way for me to go to Zimbabwe. My trip to Zimbabwe became the first August I have fully enjoyed since 2007. I visited my two sisters who I hadn’t seen since 2010. We had a great time of bonding with their families.

I also had the opportunity to launch both my books and I had amazing outreaches with women from all walks of life from different organisations. I met my fellow sisters in the Lord and shared with them insights from the Bible and from the books. I was given a slot on the radio to encourage the women of Zimbabwe to arise and become all that God has ordained for them. My sister who hosted me was appointed as a Senator and will be serving the people of her constituency. So we had a lot to thank God for. I was invited to minister at one of the fast growing churches of Harare and the Lord ministered to His people in a great way. The very August I was dreading became a source of blessing to many. Our God is faithful indeed.

I want to encourage you to hope in Him and wait for Him. His love for you is remarkable and He cares for you. As you continue with this month I pray that you will see God`s goodness and that His daily mercies will sustain you. May the Lord who turned the story of my August around reverse any negative situation that you might be facing or might face. My prayers are with you and Jesus ever lives to pray for you too.

Much love and blessings

Aunty Dorothy

Dear Precious Ladies

Welcome to the month of August. His grace has seen us through.

Paul says "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me has not been in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them—though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me." 1 Corinthians 15:10

I was reflecting on the sudden death of a very special friend commonly known as "Aunty Dorothy". She was a very vibrant and God fearing woman, always serving cheerfuly. She would not miss church for any reason. You would know if she was in church by her loud 'Amen!'s and 'Praise the Lord!'. She had a special way of dancing and related to people cross-culturally. She also mingled with the youths and was young at heart. She was always giving and supportive of every one. She had a heart for the poor and visited prisoners. Not only did she have inner beauty but she also had a particular way of dressing!! At 70 she was perming her hair that had highlights. She always changed hair styles and did manicures and pedicures. Her home was open to all. She always smiled from her heart and related to people across the churches. She was a kingdom minded woman.

Last Tuesday we were together at a birthday party for one of our sisters in the Lord. Aunty Dorothy was beaming with Joy. She was as fit as a fiddle. Her golden tooth was shining as she laughed when I commented about her ginger highlights. We enjoyed ourselves and left after 10pm.

The next day i got a call that Aunty Dorothy had just passed away. It was such a shock. I heard that she complained of stomach pain and was rushed to hospital. Within 2 hours she passed away. As I write this letter, Aunty Dorothy has not yet been buried. She did not make it to August!

My dear sisters it is by the Grace of God that we have all made it to August! We are what we are and we have what we have by Grace.

Like Aunty Dorothy, let us create good memories by living lives that bless others. Let us treasure the relationships that God has given us. Aunty Dorothy made a difference by doing simple things that blessed others as simple as a heartfelt hug and smile.

In this new month that the Lord has given us let's spend our time wisely. Let us love the Lord passionately and serve others passionately with love and humility. May His Grace empower all of us to walk in His ways and may His Grace help us to achieve our goals for August. May his Grace keep us from all evil.

I leave you with Psalm 90:12..."So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart."

God Will Answer

Dear Precious Ladies

How have you been? We thank God for the grace that sustained us in June.

1 John 5:14-15 says, ‘this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.’

Ladies our God is very faithful. I had a desire to go to Israel for years and years, ever since I was a young girl. I prayed about it for the past ten years or so. I would hear from people who had been and would wish I could go. Sometimes I would watch television programmes and see people in Israel and would say “one day I will go”. Last month the Lord made a way for us to go as a team from our church with some brethren from London.

Israel made the scriptures come alive for me. I was encouraged by the great involvement of women in the ministry of our Lord Jesus. We went to the key places starting from Bethlehem, His birthplace, then Jerusalem, Nazareth, Galilee, Cana, Capernaum, Calvary, Gethsemane, the upper room, and the empty tomb. We also visited Mary and Martha`s place, the wells of David, Jordan River, Dead Sea, Mountain of Beatitudes, Jericho, Mount of Transfiguration, Mount of Olive, Wailing Wall, Bethsaida, the shepherds field, and followed Jesus' steps to the cross. I found the whole experience completely life changing. We could sense the presence of the Lord at each place we went to. We would stop and pray, connecting with what had happened there. We had an opportunity to carry a cross and it was very tough!!! We could just imagine what Jesus felt and yet we had not been scourged or spat on, or slept in a dungeon the night before. The sufferings of Christ became very real. Indeed we were purchased with a great price!!! (1 Corinthians 6:20)

At the Wailing Wall women from every corner of the globe were interceding for different things. I remembered you all who subscribe to ‘Hope for Every Woman’ and I believe the Lord heard us. It was amazing to see all nations gather to pray to Yahweh, the God of Israel... our God! My feet stood within the gates of Jerusalem and I worshipped the Lord. Later, when we went to the upper room we prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to fill us again. He did because we felt His magnificent and powerful presence.

During our time in Israel, we rededicated our lives to the Lord. We also grabbed the opportunity to be baptised again in the same river Jordan where John baptised our Lord and the heavens were opened for Him!! I believe the heavens opened for us too. While I was in the water, I could not stop clapping my hands and singing praises to the Lord. Surely the Lord was and is with us. I came back a brand new woman and understand the scriptures more because I can visualise the places!!

Going to Israel was a dream come true. God gave me the desire of my heart even though I had to wait a long time for my prayer to be answered. As we end the month of June 2013, let me encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord if you are waiting for an answer to prayer. No matter how long it takes, do not give up and be discouraged. God is faithful and very real. He granted my ‘Israel prayer request’. Yours may not be Israel, it could be something else but just know that delay does not mean denial. Calvary is the epitome of God’s love for you, so He will answer you and it shall be well with you.

For those of you whose who have been praying for the opportunity to go to Israel, you will surely go. The God who made a way for me will surely make a way for you.

I love you all and am praying for you.

Rejoice in June!

Dear Precious Ladies

Hallelujah!!! June is here! January seems like yesterday! For others, it could be that May went really slowly because of various reasons. But hey, we have moved into a new month and we are alive! We thank God for seeing us through and by His grace, He will continue to see us through. What hope we have in our heavenly Father! Isn’t He faithful ladies? I would like to share with two very simple verses that I was given as daily devotional verses:
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food…yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour - Habakkuk 3:17-18.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice – Philippians 4:4.

When I first started reflecting on these verses, what came to my mind immediately was to praise the Lord always. Of course as human beings, it is very easy to praise God when things are going well, when our requests are being granted by God, or when things are going as we expect them to.

But what if things aren’t going so well… For example, you have looked for a job endlessly, but you still haven’t found one, leading to financial difficulties. It might be that you are struggling with your studies or career - that boss that is giving you a very hard time is making life unbearable. Maybe things aren’t going well with your family life – husband, children, parents, siblings, or you are all alone and feel forgotten or left out. Are you living in a warzone where there is so much devastation, that even basics such as food and water are hard to get? Could it be that you are battling serious health issues, or could it be you recently lost a loved one? Any of these can make life feel so difficult and at times like this, we may feel God isn’t listening to us or He isn’t there for us and may find it really hard to praise Him.

The Bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people Psalm 22:3 and we know it is good to praise Him (See Psalm 147). Also, don’t forget that the enemy tries to take advantage when we are weak. When we feel low in spirit, the enemy, whom we know is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour could try to make things worse by making us lose our faith, our hope, our joy, our confidence. So don’t give the enemy the opportunity to pounce!

God doesn’t need our praise, but I see God saying “Well done” whenever we praise Him, even more so when we are going through hard times as it shows we trust in Him. Remember the verse “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6. Rejoicing in the Lord no matter what is about trusting the Lord always. E.g Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, Daniel

One way I have heard lots of preachers say to go about this is to think of all the blessings the Lord has bestowed on us when we are going through difficult times, and it really does help to uplift our spirit to the point where we are able to praise Him.

So dear ladies, let us try not to be weighed down by life’s trials. Let us try to rejoice in Him always and remember He is more than able to see us through whatever life throws at us.

Also, all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord – Romans 8:28a. Let us have His peace in our hearts throughout this month and always.

Remain blessed.

The Ice Will Melt!

Dear Precious Ladies

Once again, we have been allowed to enter a new month. April is completely gone with all its challenges and successes. We have been given another opportunity to run the race (Hebrews 12:1).

Here in the UK, we have been experiencing a bit of sun shine and warmth. Although with it, there have been bouts of hayfever. I have also heard that in Johannesburg, South Africa, it's very cold at the moment. People have to double up their clothing while here in the UK we are taking off layers and hopefully packing our coats away. This has brought a scripture to mind that there is a time for everything. While others are entering winter, some of us are exiting, and so is the journey of life. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says that 'there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…'

The other day, I was chatting to a lady about her relationship challenge. I asked her how are things going and she said 'oh, freezing!' Then I realised that there could be many of us out there who are experiencing 'frost' in relationships, and sometimes even 'ice' and you don't know what is next. In our city we were once grounded by snow. We couldn't go to work or do anything we had planned. Snow seemed to be in charge at that moment as it dictated to everyone what they should do. But you know what, as we speak, it's all melted. It's complete history! We have even forgotten about it.

I want to encourage you that your freezing situation is not as permanent as it appears. God will bring the heat that will melt that (snow). Perhaps your challenge is not relational, it could be financial, health, education, children or even spouse. Is there any area where things have been icy? Take heart, the Most High God is higher than anything. Just as spring has come to us, so spring will come in these areas of your lives. There is no situation that is too difficult for God. When the heat of His presence arrives, everything must bow down and melt.

The key is to maintain a clean heart and not be hardened by what you are facing. A testimony is on its way. Watch the space this May! Have faith in God. And when the change comes, please do write to us and share your testimony!

We have some good news! We are delighted to share God's faithfulness with you. My second book is out. It's called 'Daughter Arise! Defy Your Limitations and Scale the Utmost Height'. If you would like to get your copy please contact us at Hope For Every Woman. And for our international ladies, we will keep you updated as to when it will be available on Amazon.

Those of you around the London area in the UK, we will be attending a conference called 'Maximum Empowerment' where I will be speaking on Saturday and Sunday. The details were posted on our blog and here is the link once again. See you there! Please pray for this event as we desire to see every woman who attends to be empowered to the maximum for God's glory.

Much love and blessings

The Love of God

Hi Precious  Ladies

Grace be multiplied to you. How have you been so far in this month of April? God has been very good to us. We had an amazing conference and we bonded with sisters who came from far and wide. We learnt that what distinguishes us is the presence of God in our lives. God is always with us and because of His love for us we are able to accomplish great things that bring glory and honour to His name.

I have been meditating on the love of God. Jeremiah 31:3 says "The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness”. Isaiah 43:1-2 states thatBut now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. That settles everything. We are God`s hand made children. He made us with His own hands!! This means He wants us, loves us, accepts us, knows us by name and has definite plans for each one of us. Beloved sisters we could have been any of His creation like a fish, tiger, or a tree but He chose to create us in His own image. He is the one who started the good work of creating you and me so He will complete the work he started!

Embrace God`s love for you which is everlasting. Every day and every hour God loves you and his thoughts towards you are always beautiful. Do not be under pressure to be accepted by those who do not realise your value and worth. The One who created you thinks a great deal about you. As you proceed with the month of April remind yourself that you are His and you were bought with the precious priceless blood of Jesus. Walk confidently knowing that all will be well with you because your Maker will take care of you and all that which concerns you.

My prayer is that you may begin to comprehend God`s unconditional love for you. That you may walk in peace and joy. I also pray that your family and loved ones will experience this amazing love that sets free.
Much love and blessings

Time to Move On

Exodus 14:15 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.

Dear Precious Ladies

So how are you all doing? How has been the month of February? Once again, we thank God for allowing us to cross over into March.

As I was thanking God for the new month that He has given us, I started to ponder about the meaning of the word 'march', which is the month we are in. Here are some of the definitions: to walk in a stately and deliberate manner; to go forward; to advance; to proceed; to forge ahead; to progress; and to stride. I realise that at times events in the past month can hinder our forward movement. I was reminded of a scripture where Moses was crying out to God on behalf of the children of Israel and God told him to simply move forward with them. They had dwelt at the same place for a long time, and God was saying forge ahead.

So my encouragement to you is to walk in a deliberate manner in this month of March. Be determined to make progress in every area of your life. Make strides in prayer, in reading of the Word and in engaging in the spiritual disciplines that you are aware of. Make strides in your academic life, career, service of God, and make deliberate goals that will help you to move forward. Go forward in your marital life. Make improvements where necessary and even in your parenting skills. Let the month of March remind you of moving on. Sometimes we are waiting for God to do for us what we should be doing ourselves. That is why God told Moses 'don't cry to me, move on'. Indeed there are times to cry out to God but remember that some things have to be effected by you. Develop those habits that promote your moving forward and get rid of those habits that will keep you at one place.

If you were crying in February, it's time to wipe away those tears and move on. The Lord is with you. Don't let anything that happened in February determine what your March will be like. Defy every limitation and ceiling that has threatened to ground you in February. And to those of us who did very well in February, keep on moving forward, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Be encouraged, if God be for us then who can be against us. So let's all move forward in this month of March.

CONFERENCE REMINDER

Yay! Next Friday our conference begins. The stage is set and we are ready to gather together and see God move in our midst. I'm very excited about the coming weekend and I know our lives will not be the same. Come and join us as we embark on a journey exploring the lives of biblical women who made a difference in their day. We are going to glean from their lives and from one another's lives as we listen to the Word and to testimonies. We are going to be worshipping together, praying together, listening to the Word together, crying and laughing together and enjoying some fun and games. Don't miss this exciting weekend! I trust that you all saw the flyer. If not, here is the link to it again.

To our international readers, please pray for this conference as we are desiring the presence of the Lord to minister to every woman who is attending. We will also remember you in our prayers.

Distinguished Women

Dear Precious Ladies

Grace be multiplied to you as we soldier on, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

I trust you are doing well and that you and your families are experiencing God's favour and blessing. Our God is faithful and He loves us. He has good plans for us. Ephesians 2:10  says, "For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Not only has God prepared our hearts to be His habitation but He has also prepared good works for us to walk in. We have an inbuilt capacity to do good by virtue of being daughters of a good Father who has deposited His good Spirit in us. I pray that as we proceed with the month of February we will be fruitful in all we do and that our good works will be a source of blessing to those around us. We must guard our hearts so that good works can flow out of clean hearts. Let us watch out for those things that could end up causing us to produce bad works.

Our flyer is now out for our up and coming conference.
We trust that you will be able to join us.

Friday night will be just time to sing praises to our God and worship together, expressing our gratitude the best way we know how. Women are travelling from different places and different churches just to come together and bow before our King. Saturday is a full day agenda with amazing testimonies of what the Lord has done. Dr Lorna Singh, from The Word Ministries in Birmingham, will be our main speaker. We will also have different ministers giving us more insights based on our theme.

Invite your family and friends and together we will have a great time in the presence of the Lord. To you our precious sisters around the world who cannot make it, please do pray for us. We will also remember you in our prayers as I know God is raising an army of distinguished women who are causing havoc to satan 's kingdom and advancing the Kingdom of God.

Much love and blessings

Getting Brighter and Brighter

Dear Precious Ladies

Wow! We have already completed the first month of 2013! How have you all been? Did you manage to effect some of your new year's resolutions, to those of you who had them?

The idea is to keep on moving forward and not be discouraged. Many people did not make it to February so the same God who has allowed us to see this new month, has a plan and a purpose for our lives. The scriptures tell us that the pathway of the righteous gets brighter and brighter (Proverbs 4:8), and that we move from glory to glory, faith to faith, and strength to strength. As we proceed into this month, our brightness should increase. Some of the synonyms of brightness are to shine, competence, brilliance, exactness, accuracy, precision, smartness, intelligence and certainty. Isaiah 60 says "arise and shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you."

I encourage you to increase your levels of smartness, competence, accuracy and certainty in all the areas of your engagement. Let your path be brighter as you trust in the Lord and depend on Him for help and guidance, His glory and ability will be seen in you and through you. We are mandated to move from strength to strength, so we leave the strength and glory of January behind, and we embrace this new month having faith in God.

Our God is a God of increase and He loves to bless us, His children, and to see us achieve more. Inasmuch as those of us who are parents love it when our children make progress, and we celebrate their achievements, we also empower them to do better and to make a difference. How much more our Heavenly Father? He wants to show us off to the world so they may see His ability in us and glorify Him. So whatever we find ourselves doing this month of February, let  it be better than how we did it in January. Shining is not an option, so we need to rise up from January and brace ourselves up for February. Let us strengthen our relationship with God and find our security in Him, that way we will get stability, despite whatever might be thrown at us in February.

Just to let you know we are having our Celebrating Womanhood event from the 8th - 9th March 2013. Friday evening we will be a prayer and worship session tagged 'Alabaster Box'. Saturday will be an all day event. We will be having Dr Lorna Singh as our guest speaker from The Word Ministries in Birmingham. This is a powerful woman of God with great depth and insights into the word. She is also vastly involved in missions in more than 87 countries. I know we are in for a great time and our lives will not be the same after this event. We are asking those of you who are outside of the UK to pray for this event as we desire to see many women encouraged and built up.

We will send you more information very soon.

God bless you, cause His face to shine on you and help you to make a difference.

Love and blessings
